Terms of Use

These terms explain how you may use Risola, how optional subscriptions work, and your responsibilities for the images you choose. Your App Store software license remains governed by Apple’s Standard EULA.

1. Provider and applicable agreement

Risola: Paint by Number (“Risola”) is provided by the application provider identified on its App Store listing (“we”, “us”). Support and legal inquiries: support@risola.art.

Use of the app downloaded from the App Store is governed by the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA), incorporated by reference. These additional service terms do not replace it or constitute a custom EULA. The Standard EULA controls if a software-license provision conflicts with these terms; mandatory consumer rights always remain in effect. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

2. Using Risola

Risola converts selected images into paint-by-number projects and provides tools for coloring, organizing, and exporting your work. Features vary by platform, app version, and access level. No Risola account is required. You must use the app lawfully and comply with the App Store usage rules. If you are not old enough to enter an agreement, use the app only with the involvement and authorization of a parent or legal guardian where required.

Do not use Risola to infringe privacy, copyright, or other rights; distribute unlawful content; interfere with online services; or fraudulently obtain purchases or ad rewards. Software license restrictions and any exceptions required by law are set out in the Standard EULA.

3. Your images and third-party content

You retain your rights in the photos and other material you import. We do not claim ownership of your personal artwork. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to process, depict people in, export, and share your chosen images. Using Risola does not create rights in an image you did not have permission to use.

Images available through Pixabay remain subject to Pixabay’s terms and the license and third-party rights applicable to each image. Availability in the catalog is not a guarantee that every use is permitted, including commercial uses involving identifiable people, trademarks, or protected property. Review the applicable permissions before sharing or publishing.

4. Free features and rewarded advertisements

The app may offer limited free creation, advertising-supported features, and optional rewarded ads. The app shows the applicable access conditions. An ad reward is issued only after the advertising service confirms completion and is not money or transferable property. Ad availability depends on the provider, connection, region, and platform. Declining tracking permission does not make you ineligible for an available reward.

Free creation limits and availability can change as the service evolves, subject to applicable law. The Mac version does not offer the iOS advertising integrations. Current options are shown in the app; no particular advertisement or perpetual free allowance is guaranteed.

5. Risola Plus subscriptions

Where available, Risola Plus provides the premium features described on the purchase screen, including removal of app advertising placements while access is active. Monthly and yearly plans may be offered. The exact price, currency, billing period, included features, and any introductory offer are displayed before purchase and confirmed by Apple. Prices may vary by storefront and applicable taxes.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when an applicable trial ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple may charge for renewal within the 24 hours before the next period begins.
• A free or discounted trial is available only when shown and subject to Apple’s eligibility rules. Unless canceled, it converts to the subscription and price shown in the offer. Cancel at least 24 hours before a trial ends if you do not want to be charged. Any unused trial portion may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, as applicable.
• Manage or cancel through your Apple Account’s subscription settings. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Mac, use your App Store account settings. See Apple’s cancellation instructions.
• Deleting Risola does not cancel a subscription. Paid access normally continues until the end of the paid period after cancellation; Apple may end a canceled trial immediately.
• Use “Restore purchases” in the app with the Apple Account used to subscribe. Access depends on Apple’s verified entitlement and supported platforms; restoring purchases does not transfer locally saved artwork.

Apple administers billing and refund requests. You can request a refund through Apple’s Report a Problem service. Eligibility is determined under Apple’s policies and applicable law; nothing here limits statutory refund rights. Subscription price changes follow Apple’s notice and consent processes where applicable.

6. Local storage and availability

Projects are stored locally. Keep exported copies or device backups of work you want to preserve. Deleting app data, losing a device, or a failed backup can result in loss of artwork. Online image search, purchases, ads, and other connected services require network access and may be interrupted or changed. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every future device or operating system.

Photo conversion is an automated creative process. Results vary with the image and settings and may omit or alter details. Risola is a creative tool, not a medical or therapeutic service.

7. Apple, support, and liability

The application provider, rather than Apple, is responsible for Risola and its support, subject to the Standard EULA and applicable law. The Standard EULA addresses the software license, warranties, liability, termination, export compliance, and governing law. These terms do not exclude any liability or guarantee that cannot legally be excluded, and do not reduce mandatory consumer protections available where you live.

8. Changes and ending use

You may stop using Risola at any time. Cancel any subscription separately through Apple. The software license may terminate under the Standard EULA. We may update these additional terms when features, legal requirements, or services change; the updated date will appear above. Material changes will be notified where required. Changes do not retroactively remove accrued rights or override paid subscription terms without the process required by Apple and applicable law.
